Residual Syntax, 2025

Residual Syntax borrows the signage of banks and remittance centres, the counters that handle much of the money Filipinos working abroad send home. Small aluminium lightboxes in blue, yellow and black carry short lines in a plain corporate typeface, where a service or instruction would normally be: Flows fracture into silence. Exhaustion travels through veins. Time bleeds capital. Signs like these make a transaction easy to read and leave out the labour and fatigue behind the money. Oriente keeps the format and replaces the words.
