“Iris Insight” challenges the contemporary viewing experience by capturing the essence of individuals engrossed in the digital realm. Through a series of black and white irises, each belonging to someone absorbed in their gadgets, this artwork explores the impact of blue light emitted from screens. The intentional abstraction of the images adds depth, inviting viewers to contemplate the subtle nuances of modern technology. Encased within a table lightbox, the piece recreates the effect of blue light, reminding us of our constant digital connection. This project is part of an exhibit aiming to rekindle the tangible, sensory encounter with art, emphasizing the significance of presence and human connection in an increasingly virtual world.
